Game Show Auditions

Game show auditions -- they're your ticket to fame and fortune on TV's most popular game shows. Million Dollar Money Drop, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Deal or No Deal, The Price Is Right, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and more gameshow delights. But, how do you get these game show auditions?

Some gameshows require a trivia test. Others want you to send in a tape of you strutting your stuff. Others want you to audition in person. Here's what it takes to become a contestant on the most popular game shows.

Million Dollar Money Drop
Pick a partner, make sure you have compelling back-stories, and maybe you'll get the chance to compete for a million dollars cash. The current "audition" is fairly simple -- contact the show by email. You'll need to include photos and some additional details, but so far, the audition process looks fairly easy. Of course, competition will probably be intense, but for a chance to win a million dollars, it's certainly worth a try. How to try out for Million Dollar Money Drop.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
If you like the idea of New York in the Summer, you're in luck, because that's the hottest time to secure a slot in the Millionaire Hot Seat. Yup, that's the time producers get hot and heavy to find Millionaire contestants for their Fall lineup. You must sign up in advance for the New York auditions, and don't forget to study. You'll have to take a trivia test, fill out an application, and charm the producers into selecting you for the contestant pool. Get the latest on Millionaire game show auditions.

Deal or No Deal
Among all game show auditions, this is one of the easiest and the hardest. Easy because you won't have to take a trivia test. Hard because competition is scarier than the Banker at a yard sale. Deal or No Deal receives literally thousands of applications a month. Still, it's still better odds than winning the lotto, and a fantastic personality can go a long way in wowing the NBC Deal or No Deal casting folks. But grab your video camera. Unless you attend one of their cross-country contestant searches, you'll have to star in your very own video first. How to audition for Deal or No Deal.

Jeopardy
Jeopardy is among the most challenging of all game shows. You've got to know your history, geography, quantum physics – and not just when the cameras are rolling. Jeopardy game show auditions begin with a test, one that's notoriously difficult to pass. You'll need to study, but just think, you could be the next Ken Jennings. Jeopardy audition information.

Wheel of Fortune
Looking to spin that Wheel of Fortune? You're in good company. Last year alone, more than a million people requested the chance to play Wheel of Fortune for real prizes. But only a few hundred people were selected to appear on the show. The odds are long, but don't despair. They're still better than winning the lottery or getting struck by lightning. You'll have to fill out an application, play some mock games, and complete some word puzzles. Sounds like good time. No wonder so many people try out.Wheel of Fortune audition information.

Million Dollar Password
In December of 2007, the show was in casting mode bigtime. They posted applications and release forms, and invited would-be contestants to New York City for Password game show auditions. But how about now? Click here for more information on Password auditions.

The Price Is Right
