Acing Game Show Casting Calls

Game show casting calls are where the rubber meets the road. Are you likeable? Unique? Entertaining? What's your story? And, are you willing to tell it with flair on national TV?

For some shows, like Millionaire, you don't even get a casting call until after you've passed a trivia test. For other shows, like Deal or No Deal, there is no pre-test – so your audition is even more important. Regardless, this is your one and only chance to wow the staff.

Chances are, you've got less than a minute to capture their attention. So you can't dilly-dally, especially if you're attending an on-the-road audition in your hometown. The casting experts have hundreds of people waiting in line. So what do you do?

Here are some tips and tricks for acing game show casting calls. Remember, these are only theories, food for thought, if you will. Do what works for you, and remember, you must be genuine, honest, and enthusiastic. Don't try to pretend to be someone you're not, but DO capitalize on what makes you truly special.
