Ready to be a contestant on The Price Is Right? Well, then come on down...to Los Angeles, that is. If you're planning to be in the Los Angeles area, and want to win some darn fine merchandise, this is the game show for you.



No trivia test is needed. Obviously! But your personality will really need to shine to snag a contestant slot. And, you'll need to be price-savvy to snag a dinette set or something even better. (All together now, can you say..."A NEEEW caaar!")

For this game show, your first step in becoming a contestant is becoming a member of the studio audience.

This game show tapes almost non-stop, so you could "audition" at almost any time. They schedule taping dates month in advance too, so you've got plenty of time to make those travel plans.

Price Is Right Practice Idea: Before you try to win real money, you'll not only want to watch the show religiously, you'll want to pay lots of attention to how much things cost (obviously!). But take it a step further.

Practice in real life for pretend money. Go car shopping (a fun treat in and of itself), volunteer to do the family grocery shopping and guess the prices of things in your cart, browse for your dream bedroom set -- because if you get your chance to play this game show for real, you'll want to go in armed with a noggin full of price info.
